2015 ONE MIND summit

May 27-29 | Arlington, VA

The 4th Annual One Mind Summit built on the actions captured during the 2014 One Mind Summit, with the focus on “Open Science and Collaboration in Action.”

An international group of 125 renowned neuroscientists, policy makers and advocates, including 35 renowned speakers and panelists, discussed progress in the field of TBI along with collaborative models and technological tools that One Mind is helping to establish and which will be broadly applicable in neuroscience. Leaders from other neuroscience disease areas shared their insights so together we can further develop innovative and cost effective methods to more rapidly advance diagnostics, treatments, and better patient outcomes.

Our keynote speaker, Dr. Andrew von Eschenbach was inspiring, insightful, and hopeful in his address, “You are now where cancer was.”

One Mind will publish the proceedings very soon and will develop consensus next steps for further action – with the needs of the patient as the guiding principle.

A big thank you goes out to our moderators, Stephen Johnson and Dr. Ramona Hicks. The tremendous success of the summit was greatly contributed to by both of them. We also appreciate the deep research and planning put in before the event - it was evident in each of the panels.
